Prenups – is it de rigeur for the modern day bride and groom? What comes to mind when Hollywood celebs and business moguls have tied the knot in lavish weddings, but deep within the fanfare lies a document called a pre-nuptial agreement. Viewed as a safe way to divorce or as an insurance policy against personal bankruptcy from a bitter spouse? Or, is it just the “in thing” since just about 1 in 3 couples I know have split, though it would be interesting to know the exact numbers.
